What is InfoSafe?
InfoSafe securely stores your notes, passwords, and sensitive information in an encrypted MySQL database. Each entry is organized hierarchically as a “node”, allowing unlimited nesting and tagging for easy navigation.
Main Features
- 🔐 All titles and content are encrypted — only decrypted in memory.
- 🧩 Organize using parent-child nodes and drag-and-drop reordering.
- 🏷️ Add tags to filter or search related entries instantly.
- 📦 Import legacy RTF-based InfoSafe data from older systems.
- 💾 Encrypted MySQL backend — secure even if database is compromised.
Using the App
- 📁 Use the left panel to browse or reorder nodes.
- 📝 Select a node to view or edit its content in the right panel.
- 🔍 Use the floating “Tools” button to search, add, or delete nodes.
- 💡 The “Drop here” area lets you move an item to become a root node.
Security Notes
- 🔑 AES-encrypted storage: decryption key derived from environment variable + user credentials.
- 🧱 No content is sent outside your own server.
- 🕵️♂️ Even MySQL administrators cannot read your stored data directly.
Version 1.0 · Built with Blazorise and MySQL 8
